Implants
Implants are artificial roots placed in bone that will support the replacement of tooth structure. Implants are the current standard of treatment for the replacement for single missing teeth as opposed to fixed bridges. They can also replace missing teeth at the end of the dental arch. The basic requirement for an implant is a sufficient amount of bone to support the implant.

Implants may also be used as supports for full and partial dentures. Different types of fixtures (connectors on top of and implant) are available to add stability and enhanced function to removable prosthetics. Again, the amount of bone support is paramount to the success of the implant.
Since this office can surgically place the implant and the crown, we price implants and the crown at about the same cost as a three unit bridge. During the diagnosis and treatment planning stage of your treatment, we can determine if an implant is suitable for you and give you a comparison to any other options for treatment.
